Does anyone know of any Equine dentists that cover the Yorkshire Area that they would reccommend? or on the other hand NOT reccommend?

Ive had a quick look and come across 3 names - any info on them would be much appreciated :)

Robert Ruddy
Jonathon Taylor
Paul Waudby

Thanks x

The only one I know is Sally Kingsley and I would certainly recommend her. She was recommended to me last year (always had vet do it before). She is a qualified vet but only works as EDT, so she can sedate if necessary. It was not necessary for our 3. She used power tools for the 1st time that I know of for all 3 of them. I was expecting some trouble with our old cob as she had had her tongue rasped by accident by an inexperienced vet. Sally is very quiet and calm, she has a hearing impairment and brings an assistant/translator with her.

I used Paul Waudby last year for my own horses and would happily recommend him.

My work uses Martin Brooks and he is very highly regarded. Don't know about the other two so I would say Paul or Martin.

We use Robert Ruddy because he holds a clinic once a month at our vets and it is easy to get to. He is very calm and patient with the horses, nice man!
I'm sure he used to be on the register Victoria mentions, can't open it to check!

Robert Ruddy is fantastic - can't rate him enough. And he does a clinic regularly at Ledston (great if your horse may need doping) and sure he does one Easingwold way too

Highly recommend Paul Waudby, especially if you have a difficult horse, he's really patient.
Would stay well away from Robert Ruddy, ive had endless problems with my horse since using him.
