What should I have in mine?

All I have currently is Sudocrem, Cotton wool pleats, cornucresine & hoof moist & vaseline...

And I have a lame horse who, on the farrier's reccomendation, is wet poulticed due to a dry hole in her hoof which was probably an abcess which has already burst.

So.

I realised how unprepared I was!

Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks!

My first aid box is pretty sparse to be honest.

As long as it's got a clean towel, a thermometer, vet wrap and poultice in it - that's fine by me.

I have far too much in mine

Gamgee, Animalintex, vetrap, thermometer (must buy new one as it doesn't always work!), cotton wool, fly repellent wound cream, hydrogel, purple spray liquid (I don't use it as a spray), duct tape, scissors, towel... the list goes on! Then there's the stuff I've acquired from the vet for my horse such as hydrogen peroxide and syringe for the gravel in her toe, a small nugget of hoof putty, and stuff like that.
I only realised how unprepared I was too after my horse went very lame and I had to poultice her! Shocking!

TBH I would be happy enough having the hydrogel, gamgee, Animalintex, vetrap, scissors. That's all I really use.
