Just seen a thread on the general discussion board that there is an outbreak of Equine Flu in Cheshire. Does anyone have any details? Also asked on the other forum

Found out it is in Poynton . Had a text from Wright and Moreton and I am not even a client of theirs!! I wonder if they are trying to drum up business.

At last! When there is an outbreak of anything contagious people need to judge the risk for themselves, but the vets just say it is client confidentiality. I shall warn a friend of mine who has a livery yard not too far away. I wonder if Adlington know about it too, that's just down the road.

It is definitely Poynton, they have quarantined and will not be taking horses off the yard for a while so hopefully won't go further!
