Equine Flu in HEREFORDSHIRE & WORCESTERSHIRE

My vets have released a post on their facebook page stating that " today Equine Flu was diagnosed in HEREFORDSHIRE & WORCESTERSHIRE "

They have advised that if your horse isn't vaccinated now would be a good time.

does anyone know is it in Herefordshire, Worcestershire or in both?

It's in both areas as far as I know the vets said it was diagnosed in worcestershire and herefordshire.

Do you know how many yards are affected? Is the flu confined [as yet] to south Herefordshire or is it general?

There's 3 outbreaks at the mo, one in Worcs, one in Herefordshire, and one in Durham. All 3 are said to be non-vaccinated.

Are all outbreaks connected to horses imported from Ireland? Are any horses affected TB's? If so were they imported animals?
