I have just seen treatments with equine Indiba offered via our local equine fb page - this is claimed - "equine Indiba also increased blood flow, clears the lymphatic system and causes proliferation of stem cells which heal and build muscle."

Does anyone have any experience of it please?

sounds too good to be true:

Indiba® is a physiotherapy technique that makes use of energy to attract electric charges to the diseased area, thus reawakening internal energy and activating natural tissue repair and anti-inflammatory processes without involving the projection of radiant energy from the outside. It is based on the condenser's physical principle: low frequency radio waves (0.5 MHz) generate displacement currents for the body's typical electric charges - ions - which, subsequently, produce heat.Unlike many other forms of electrotherapy, the benefits of INDIBA® derive from the fact that the current is not transmitted by direct contact, but by the movement of attraction and repulsion of electric charges. This action creates intense stimulation at cellular level, triggering the natural repair processes of the body. Biostimulation of the tissues generates vasodilation with an increase in blood flow, reduction of pain, reduction of muscle strain and draining of edema.
Indiba® stimulates injured tissues (i.e. tendons, ligaments, bones, joints and muscles) to activate natural anti-inflammatory and repair processes, achieving exceptional results in terms of efficacy and rapid action. As observed in human athletes, Indiba® applied to horses accelerates the body's metabolic processes and increases internal temperature, enhancing the flow of blood rich in oxygen and nourishment for tissues. It also stimulates lymph flow in lymphatic vessels, thus speeding up and completing the elimination of toxins, which slow down healing processes. The animal itself produces heat internally without risking its consumption by high temperatures or its dispersion in surface epidermal layers.
The usefulness of this new type of veterinary physiotherapy goes far beyond cases of accidents. When applied regularly:
• it prevents clinical conditions
• it improves competition performance
• it helps horses to recover from fatigue
Indiba gives unparalleled healing stimulation that will speed up recovery 3-4 times the normal rate for tendons, ligaments, muscle and other damaged tissues. It is a proven method of treating joints pathologies, muscle, ligament and tendon strains. Indications for use include muscle spasm, tears and strains, tendonitis, sprains, synovitis and bursitis, painful and swollen joints from injury or arthritis and all manner of inflammatory processes where increased lymphatic drainage is beneficial.

I know a lady who owns an Indiba machine locally...
From what I gather it's essentially shockwave therapy with imaging.
Those who have had shockwave therapy on their horses re: tendon injuries/kissing spine etc will know how hit and miss it is!
Now, I am a total sceptic, but I've found myself in the situation where my horse isn't right and needs some form of treatment be it Osteopath, Physio etc, and am wondering whether to give this Indiba a go?! Part of me is kicking myself because it's like you said, too good to be true, the other part of me thinks meh what have I got to lose!?

Would be good to find out anyone elses opinions, I have only heard reviews from those who are in the 'indiba gang'!

Hey Guys....
I first came across Equine Indiba as a prize, and was a little synical, but thought it was worth a free go...
I took my very quirky mare, Vimmy to have a session, and noticed almost instant results with her being more active behind. She then had another 2 treatments that week ready for the Regionals, and was on the best form she has ever been, relaxed yet big, powerful mmovement.
She then had a few treatments after, and gave yet another best performance at the u21 winter championships at the beginning of the month at medium level, and her concentration was perfect, which i normally have none....
People commented on her elasticity and paces. Vimmy has ALWAYS had these comments, but the comments from people who already know her were about more much more than usual she had. She also got 9 for her medium trot, which she has not had for years.
I am excited to use the Indiba on my up and coming 4yo who has no problems, but will use the machine to enhance elasticity, and concentration.
The equine indiba website is currently being built.
Its worth a shot...
