Equine Insurance companies

Hi guys
My horse is insured with one of the ‘well known’ equine and pet insurance companies, I’ve had my renewal through which has increased £4 per month; I haven’t made a claim on this policy so really looking to move provider.

I’m looking for your experiences/recommendations of any good (if there are any!!) insurance companies

I moved from NFU to Animal Friends due to sky rocketing premiums with NFU. I've not had to make a claim yet with AF's but I'm happy with the service they provided and the premiums are so much less. I know lots of people who have their horses insured with them...all seem happy. I've not got liability insurance with them because I have BHS gold membership for that. Hope that helps.
 
I moved from NFU to Amtrust due to increasing premiums, mine dropped by a 1/3 and they have paid my claim very quickly and efficently - very impressed.
 
Heard a lot of good things about NFU. I was with Pet Plan but found them expensive, now I'm with SEIB. SEIB were very good when my friend was with them and had operations on her horse which eventually resulted in a loss of use - they were quick to pay out on the vets fees and loss of use claim.
 
I'm with Petplan and have made loads of claims - all paid out without a fuss.
Premiums are okay but then I do have a high £500 excess.
