thinking of getting my horse a full body sports massage as she seems quite tight in the back area- anyone had one before and have any reviews?

Would love to know how good they are and how effective:)

I'm a trained EBW so I'd rate them ;)

In all seriousness they do make a difference; just think of how it feels to have your own massage. They aren't a quick fix for any issues but the therapist would be able to evaluate what is required when they visit. Most will leave you an exercise plan or techniques to do yourself ad you'll notice greater/ faster improvement if you do as advised. You'd be surprised how many people don't then wonder why there are no dramatic changes!

Speak to your vet also as all therapists require veterinary approval before they can work on any horse :)

Absolutely - we are lucky in that we have a EBW at the yard, and he is always available for massage (he also does hoomans).

My boy absolutely loves massage, particularly round his head, neck and shoulders - not so much round his quarters - and goes to sleep while Chris does his stuff. Chris also does reiki, so tops him up with some reiki while doing the massage.

I would highly recommend it.
