Just a quick question to get some of your thoughts...

I'm thinking of starting a business offering services in web design and other internet media specialised for the equine industry.

Do you think there is a market for this? Are people who own studs/businesses interested in the really flashy type of design similar what the German company Horse-Gate produces?

I think you may be limiting your customer base if you stick to just Equine Companies. It may be better to offer the service out to any company & once established start specialising. When you initially start up any business you need to generate income & limiting it so much may cause you some financial problems...just my view.

Toby, yes we already offer web design and are a well established company, but seeing I am a horsey person wondered if there would be the demand for horse stuff if we offered it... (sorry I shuld have explained that in the first posting).

Plus what I wanted to offer was the really arty looking sites, not just your run of the mill boring stuff. If you take a look at www.horse-gate.com you will know what I mean.
