Haha... I just wanted to make it quick and easy for people to do. I wanted to check that the price quotes that vets are giving me are realistic and if the insurance companies are being realistic about how much of the costs they cover too.

Any more info on scans that people have had for their horses would be amazing! I've heard a few things about insurance companies disputing the need for an MRI, etc.

ETS I have had 2 done on 2 different horses - both front feet both times. The first was in the early days of MRI and was done at the AHT and cost approx £2000 and was done under GA. The second was about 4 years ago and at Liphook and cost approx £1200 and that was done standing.

Have answered but wanted to mention that having a big range from 1000 - 2000 if alot are around the 1100 mark could be a bit misleading.
