Anybody used this? mum saw an ad for it in H&H and thought it might be useful for my mare. I have been on the website and read the rider/ trainer comments, but obviously, they never put bad comments on!
Any info good or bad appreciated

Thanks, Kerry xx

do yourself a favour and dont bring this up again on here. if you really want to know and sincerely missed the other threads, PM me.

its not going underground, its trying to avoid another racket. You made your position on the subject clear, and as kerrylou has commented on the view of the riders quoted this wont be a discussion you will care for, unless we all say it is great because i believe your son is one of the riders concerned.
i am astonished that anyone didnt see either of the last two threads on the matter, and as far as i know the one last week is still on the board, so personally thinks its better to have a private discussion until we find out if this is a genuine request and not someone stirring.

Why would you want to use it on your mare?

The best thing you could do is phone up the company and have a chat to them about it. I know they will want to sell their product, but perhaps they can give you some more information so you can make your mind up accordingly. It has obviously worked for some riders, otherwise they would not have put their names to the product (as I understand it is a testimonial as opposed to a sponsorship), but I can guarantee there are also riders out there for whom this product has not been successful.

I suppose it is like everything with horses, if you don't give a go you will never know

Please let us know how you get on with it if you do decide to try it...

hmm, not it wasn't really very helpful!
Obviously i had intended to call, but at 9pm friday night, i doubt anybody would be there to take my call. I wasn't tryting to stir trouble for anybody, just researching.
I thought this forum was about helping people and giving advice.... well you guys didnt help me in any way shape or form. I only asked for opinions.

To summarise, some people had tried it and said it definately made a differnence on their horse. Other people commented that from a scientific POV it couldn't work the way it is described to work on the website (I don't know if the wording has been changed), but if such and such (sorry but I don't remember the proper explanation) happened, then it might or could work from a scientific standpoint, and someone else said they tried it and it didn't work on their horse.
I think that was it

I didn't mean 'why do you want to use that'... I meant, what would you like it to help your mare with?

I do think you should give them a call when they are back in the office... People on here seem to start debating quite heatedly about this product, but I am interested in knowing whether it does in fact work on some horses. Nothing works on every single horse in my opinion. I use Cortaflex on both of mine and yet I bet there are people who would say it doesn't work
