Evening,

Am debating getting a solarium for my tack up/wash down area. The one I see most is the the Drimee one thats usually at Burghley/YHL etc but the lights will shatter apparently if they get wet.

Does anyone know of any other makes? Or is just getting my pet electrician to put a couple of infrared bulbs up an option?!

Tell me more peeps.

White choc cookies for all,

Elle

Hiya!

My old yard had a Sunswitch one which was great! I have moved since & I liked it that much I'm planning to get one for my place. They can be placed in occupied stables/wash boxes & they have a variety of specs starting from basic heat lamps up to the all singing & all dancing types depending on your needs. Also like how they can be positioned so as to reach from hoof to wither instead of just across the back area like most other solariums

PinkSwoon Ooo I like the look of the most basic sunswitch one as the way my horses stand in grooming area means they could be attached to the roof beams.

Red-1 are the patio heaters ok to be attached to wood do you know?

I have roof beams in my stables too which are perfect for the job - I think it's the mid-range one I want, best get saving up £1400!
