Anyone every used equine touch? Does it losen muscles? Does it relieve stifness through the back/topline? Abit confused to be honest ... horse is a bit stiff to the left, its his bad rein so usually is a bit stiffer to this side but moreso in the last week.
 
Hi, I am an Equine Touch practitioner and can tell you that I have had lots of success working on all sorts of horses ( and donkeys) with all types of problems.

I would say give it a try.
 
have used them before, and honestly, it depends on the person you get! some here are better than others :)

I dont think it works, would rather use a physio imo, and the person tried to "communicate" with my horse but told me that he was "not very chatty and didnt want to talk..."
 
Sami does T touch on ours sometimes, usually in stressy situations, and they respond well to it. I would definitely give it a go to see if it helps.
 
I am only at Level 1 at present but a good friend of mine is an instructor/practitioner. Have had excellent results with my horses.

lmao thats funny ... i think the whole communicating with horses is rubbish haha my friend got a "communicater" out and needless to say it didnt work lol

Whats the difference in physiotheraphy and equine touch? I thought they were the same!
 
A chartered physio i mean (didnt want to offend anybody!) with acpt (sp) or the likes. As far as i know there is only 2 in northern ireland.

A lot of people have had success with them though,it helped one persons horse on the yard and gets sessions a lot, but I didnt think it helped my horse :)

people will argue with me that physio and equine touch is the same, but i will always disagree :)
 
hmmm might give it a go :P ... had a physio out a couple of years ago when he had a sore back she said the saddles was to narrow but it was to wide! She also told us to do this thing on his girth area sort of like giggle it about as he was tight in this area but it didnt help it just made him kick!
