Hi I bought 17.5" equipe expression special Jumping saddle around 6 months ago for Knightly but unfortunately Knightly had to be put to sleep a month later after an accident in the field
But I got my new horse Bacardi about 3 months ago, so I had the saddle checked for size on him and I was soooo! thankful it fitted him perfectly but at the time he had very little top line so now he has done a lot of hill work, jumping and core work so now he's put on a lot of muscle all over so really pleased with that but yesterday i noticed my saddle was getting pushed back and because of this it was sitting lower and close to his spine and because he's a dutch warmblood he has a typical foreign long, flat back so with the saddle moving back it is rocking forward
So i contacted My saddler and he said that he thinks he could adjust it
but when reading up on the internet people have said that because it has the memmory foam in it and the fiber tree it cannot be adjusted and you can possibly damage them
So this has made me extremely worried as the last time i had a saddle adjusted the person broke the tree
I really don't want to let the saddle go cause it's the most wonderful saddle that ive sat on yet
and I dont want to be ripped off by part exchanging it for another saddle
It has had very little ware on it and has had the best love and care and is just getting the mark were the stirrup leathers lie so looks brand new
so any information on this subject will be greatly appreciated
