Equipe jump saddles...

tell me all :).

Looking at finding Skylla a jump saddle, if we're going to do more jumping I cannot keep going in her dressage saddle. Topaz's dressage Equipe seems to fit her pretty much spot on (will be getting my saddle fitter to assess, but as it doesn't budge a mm I'm thinking it should be a good fit), so are the jump saddles made with a similar tree shape? I've seen one that is a good price and seems the right width, length, ect, so could be worth a punt?

Any reviews?
 
Ive just done the same. Our 3 ridden ones are all in the same equipe jump saddles.(synergy) Fits them all perfectly. So decided to get an equipe dressage saddle. I did try other makes, but the equipe dressage just fitted them all the best. All mine are big shouldered flat backed neddies. Hope that helps
 
Perfect :), big shouldered, flat back profile and the dressage saddle fits!

The one I've seen is the Expression, fingers crossed I like it and it fits then!

I love my Synergy... I've used it on different horses and everything goes well in it :)

Just an FYI though.... the Synergy and the Expression have a different tree. I believe the Expression is more curved. The dressage saddles are the same so when I bought my Equipe dressage I went for one that had the same tree as my jump (the Rose) and it fits perfectly. The Emporio dressage is the same as the Expression iirc.

I have the Olympia as well. the saddler told me the Olympia and Emporio are the same tree but with different knee rolls. I haver to say, my horse went so much better in the Olympia. Also, the horse I originally bought the equipe synergy for, definitely went so much better in the synergy than the expression. You can pick up second hand synergys quite easily, at decent prices too. Have you tried Polished saddles ?
 
We have both the expression and synergy monoflap jump saddles and the equipe dressage, love them all! I got all 3 second hand through a saddle fitter and they fit our horses really well.��
 
So I've looked on the Equipe website and the Expression, Olympia and the Synergy seem to be from the same 'line' so perhaps are the same tree, but the Emporio is a different 'line' but still with a synthetic tree?

I think for the price and size I'll take a punt, and if I don't like it try and find a Synergy or accept a brand spanking new saddle might be needed :eek3:!
