Does anyone have one? I am looking into getting one as I need to keep as much of my boy as dry as possible and as this wraps around the chest it seems to be a decent option. Are they very waterproof or are they just shower proof? Also what are the sizes like, do they come up fairly big/small/spot on?
My boy is in 6ft3 rugs so was considering buying the 4.9ft rug but unsure if this would be too small/big as I am hopeless when it comes to sizing exercise sheets.

Does anyone know if the yellow and the pink rugs are any different? As they appear to be in the pictures...

I've got an orange one, it's soooo bright. People tell me they can see me miles away so it definitely does it's job. It stays on when cantering etc and doesn't flap much. It's certainly showerproof and seems to keep itself quite clean too. I'v not really used it in heavy rain. It's lined with cotton and my horse seems warm enough with it though he just has a bib and belly clip. You can get them lined with fleece.
You put it on after you tack up and there are slits for the stirrups. It fastens in velcro in front of the pommel and around the neck. In heavy rain I would think the rain may be able to drip in around the saddle openings but that said it's a snug fit around my falcon gp.
In terms of fit my boy is 6ft rug size and middleweight and I got him a medium size which covers his bottom nicely almost down to his stifles. It's not restrictive across the neck either.
I use mine every time I hack out as we use a busy road, and so far I'm very pleased with it. My old exercise rug went under the saddle and always got bunched up, so this one is far better. I would certainly recommend it.

The yellow photo is the older style and the pink is the newer style. I've got the older style one in yellow one and think its great - we've been stopped out hacking by ladies commenting on how visible we are and how nice it is to see. It really does give great all rounn visibility. I've got the fleece lined one. Not tested it in heavy rain but its never leaked in showers.

I'd highly recommend. I do think the new design for the chest fastening is better than the old one so I'd go for the newer one.

ETA: The slits are for the girth not the stirrups - its supposed to sit under the top saddle flap

If anyone has tested them in heavy rain I would love to know
