Just wondering what you guys think of them. Does anyone have their own or use a friends/yard managers, how often do you use it? Do you notice a difference in your horse? Are they as good as (or prehaps better?) than a conventional massage/physio/osteopath treatment. For those who don't have access to one, would you be prepared to pay a small amount to have someone come out and do a session with one on your horse for you?

Any info appreciated, as doing some research into them.

Thankyou :)

I have used them and found they do make a difference, but I have an equilbrium massage pad. Its a lot cheaper, and does different movements unlike an equissage and fits the horse better (is shaped like a saddle pad).

Dominobrown thanks, I have heard of the equilibrium pad, what different movements does this do? Do you feel it's better/more effective than the equissage? Is that one a magnetic one? (have seen one once, just trying to remember how it works!)

I have only used the Equissage as I bought it before Equilibrium brought out their massage pad.

I have definitely noticed an improvement in my horse and now put it on him everytime before I ride.

He is quite a tense, sharp horse who has had issues putting his back into spasm in the past. He does seem to be much softer to ride after using the Equissage.
