Equissage

Not such a huge fan of Equissages, as I think they are overpriced for what they are, and don't like the pad. However, I can see the hand unit used in certain ways can be beneficial :D

I have a Equilibrium pad and love it. My mare takes less time to warm up through her back now, and her muscles are always soft and relxed after use :) ALOT cheaper than the equissage too :)

We've got the equilibrium pad too. I really rate it. My horse enjoys it, is def more relaxed after having it on and at my last lesson my instructor commented (not pre-empted and pad not mentioned) that he was more up through his back. Well worth the money IMO and at the mo I think they're still doing the buy a massage pad get a free magnetic pad offer :)

I have just brought one, and my boy had it on for the 2nd time today. (got the magnetic pad free with it as well...- brought it off ebay - check ebay out before buying it through any of the big names online - as they are available cheaper on ebay!!)

I just lunged the boy after him having it on today, and he was soooo much more relaxed and ready to work. I was a bit concerned that he would object to the pad - as he is such a drama queen - but on only his 2nd time with it on, he has realised that it is a good thing, and stands quietly enjoying it on him!

I would be interested to know if anyone has used both the equissage & the equilibrium and whether the equissage is really worth the extra £2k that it costs!

I had e-mailed equissage to get prices from them a few weeks ago, and after having to pester them into actually giving me prices (!!!) I nearly fell of my chair when I found out they cost £2200!! :)
