Well I haven't needed to but a couple of local vets are very keen on it. Another well known equine vet published a proper clinical study on it which is available on the Equitech web site. Have a look and see what you think. My vet gave me a copy and it looks quite impressive. Certainly not many other mud fever products ( well actually none that I know of) publish data in the scientific veterinary press.
I have been thinking of trying this product for the same reason as you, if you get it could you please let me know how you find it. I have let my Dales X mane and feathers grow back, so this is the first year of feathers.
Yes I certainly will - and if you get it first please let me know how you get on with it I am trying to leave well alone just now so as not to initiate a flare up by poking around.
Yes - cannot recommend it highly enough. The cream is also very good but I haven't tried the wash. I used the cream originally - I was a bit doubtful about it the first time but it worked really well on my thin skinned t/b who has 3 white legs & is very prone to mud fever. The hardest thing for me now is getting hold of the product as no one near me sells it.
