Has anyone got a pair of long Equitector boots? What do you think of them?

I'm resigned to the fact I'm going to have to go made to measure as I've got stupid short (16"), fat (18") lower legs!

Ive got some long ones and they are really good. Ive got very short legs and all others i tried cut into the back of my knee and these dont, they come up very wide too, mine are the short xw version.

I have a pair of stupid long (19") fat (18") lower legs, and a pair of equitector long boots. They are fab, I hunted int hem all last season and they are soooo comfy, come up beautifully even after hunting in our bogs, and the zip has lasted which it hasn't with other more expensive boots.

ETA - don't rule out 'off the peg' ones from Equitector - ring the guy and chat, he's really helpful. Also, do make sure that you use their measurment thingy off the website it does help get the right size. I have a very high instep and when i chatted to him he said he'd stretch it for me at no cost. the boots fitted perfectly right from the off, with no 'breaking in' required.

I've had mine for about 5 years now - really like them. They aren't THE most elegant of boots (and having rubber soles don't make that satifsfying clunky sound when you walk in them!) BUT they were comfortable to ride in from the first time I wore them and have withstood the test of time.
