Hi all,

Can anyone give me there honest opinion on the Equi trek Apollo, was going to hire one for around 6 months whilst we save for our own, we are always out and about so it's the most cost effective way of still having transport until we buy our own.

I've had around 20yrs away from horses and want to know if they're still classes as Equi Wrecks 😂

If you're hiring it, are the company you're hiring from responsible for the maintenance of the box and it being fit for purpose? If so it might not matter if it is an equiwreck and if it's relatively new and only for six months you might get away with it?

But to answer your actual question, yes they are still equiwrecks as far as I know!

Does the hire firm have other makes? The one local to me does Ifor, Cheval and Equiwreck trailers, I think.

They hire all over for 6 months plus. Don’t know how their prices compare, though.
No it's just Equitrek for £240 per month

Can I have the details of who your on about and I'll have a look into them x

It’s Wilcox at Edgemere, they’re on Facebook. They are based in S.Cheshire, but they do deliver a long way away. It’s a real business, I’ve been there 🙂.

I’ve not hired from them, but they have been in the long term (6 months plus) trailer hire business for a good few years now. Looks like mostly Ifors and some Chevals., choice of new or second hand. Also long term 3.5t box hire. Also sales of all of the above.

They seem ok, no horror stories about them that I’m aware of.
