Hi,
I am currently looking to buy a trailer for a 16.2h.h horse. I am interested in the equitrek trailers, but have no experience of them and don't know anyone that has them!
Has anyone on forum got one/used one? Any advice/tips would be appreciated. It would be the show trekka model that I would be getting.
Thanks

Ive got the Show Trekka (L) (its about to go up for sale

). It tows lovely, the horses load and travel well. It doesnt make any noise (rattle) like the Ifors etc do. Lots of storeage for tack etc.
Highly recommend them

Are the L ones the bigger ones? That is the type I would prefer I think. I am just looking for something a bit more substantial than a normal trailer. What type of car do you pull it with?

I've got one, the 5 star I think it is. My horse travelled very well in it in a 3 hour trip, no sweating or anything. Its a bit tricky for them to get the idea to walk on then turn, instead of the walk on/off way with a usual trailer. I think the backwards travel helps too.
I've got to say I love the little living area and tack stores etc too

I have a sports treka! we have had it for around 5 years now and every horse that has ever had a lift in it travels so well! I love these trailers, there is lots of storage and having a little living section is great!

It is a bit longer than a normal trailer but it is an excellent trailer! we pull with an Isuzu truck and it tows well.!

I had a Sports Treka for 3 years and exchanged it a few months ago for a Show Treka. They tow easily behind a Discovery 2.5, the horses load easily and travel well, and the living and cubbyholes are great for day or even overnight use (the Show Treka bunks are surprisingly comfortable!).
