Looking at either the Equitrek Valiant or Theault Morpheo 2 horsebox. Does anyone have experience with either of them? I like the Equitrek as the layout and small living is comfortable, and the Peugeot engine reliable. Husband likes the Theault because of the build quality but it is a bit tight on space. He als likes the Oakley Supersport (as he loved our old Oakley biggy box). Any pros / cons please.

I have to say the Theault Morpheo 2 looks are better quality to me, i looked at the Equitrek Valient for my two little boys but the workmenship was poor to me, the partitions were not very nice but the Theault Morpheo 2 looks far supperior!

I was shocked how much the Theault was!!! local woman just got one, nice looking thing but hell you can get a real lorry for £40 +K...and then plus VAT ouch bet it will lose some money when she sells as our local coach builder is making reanault boxes new are about £24K www.stratfordhorseboxs.com, dont know much about the equitrek but the trailers seem to have a following

Already have a "real" lorry, an Oakley 3 - 4 horse w' full living but now with only one horse competing want to really downsize. The mini boxes seem sensible, easier to maintain and get serviced. More practical for our single track country lane access. Don't like GC Smith boxes, or Cooke, tried the little GC Smith box and felt it unbalanced re body to chassis ratio. The Theault seem to hold their value well though.

i have an equi trek trailer and i have to say have had lots of problems with poor build quality- things falling apart on me (including an axle, a saddle rack, electric wiring, partition, windows) to name but a few....i've personally found after sales servicevery poor too
