I think the Equitrek trailers and lorries look great from the outside, but when you look closely, the build quality is not very good.

I have read and heard increasingly bad things about them. One person here posted that the ramp fell to pieces and EquiTrek said they had to be replaced every 5 years !

My friends neighbour bought a new one and sent it back because the quality was so bad. He bought an Ifor Williams instead.

I think people are much more ready to post about bad experiences than good, no matter what the subject. I've had 2 Equitrek trailers and had very few problems with them - certainly nothing more than badly-tightened screws. On my first one the ramp hinges hadn't been greased in the factory but the dealer sorted that out.

I find them great to tow, the horses like them, the living is OK considering the space available - and I would definitely get another one.
