Has anyone used this? If so, does it make them nutty??
Was considering getting it for my tb and a youngster. Have heard of people feeding milk powder too, but what sort would you need to get so that it doesn't affect their digestive system??

I used it on my mare as her foal was dragging her down. Was feeding her the body builder along with build up cubes and after a few weeks she had put alot of weight back on. It didnt send her nutty in any way. We was also using milk power to which was just basic livestock milk power out of farm shop.
 
I used it on my mare who is nutty already, ie didnt want anymore, didnt get it!!
I thought the body builder was a kind of milk pellet so personally wouldnt feed the two together!!
I also used Top spec cool condition cubes as they are less heating than Baileys No 4, or D&H build up!!
 
I used it years ago on my old ex-racer TB, to try and get some weight on him. It might have helped but he was also on all sorts of other stuff, so I can't say if it was down to the Body Builder. He was quite a fussy eater and it did seem to make the feeds more attractive to him, though. And I'm sure it's a form of milk pellet...
