Just wondering if anyone on here has ever used Eqyss Mega-Tek Rebuilder for horses hooves, manes and coats etc on themselves? it does say on the website that it can be used by humans to promote stronger hair and quicker hair growth:p

I believe it was originally developed for use on people who had suffered hairloss through cancer treatment. If you massage it into your horse, you will find your nails improve very quickly!

I have! I was using it on a mare who's foal had eatten her tail (!) After a few wks I noticed that my hair was growing faster than normal. (Someone said that the megatek probably soaks in through your skin). So I decided to try putting it on my hair, it does the same as what it does to the horses, my hair is stronger, which means it doesn't break as easliy and so grows longer. The only downside it that the smell reminds me of horse! Give it a go!

Should of said, I use it once a wk, I put it on dry hair, leave for 10 mins or as long as I have, then wash as normal :)

Yes, I used it when I lost my hair with chemotherapy. I phoned up the company just to be sure it was OK to use. TBH my hair grew back, not sure how much slower it would have been without it but it felt good to be trying something!!

I really rate it for horses' manes and probably for human ones :p:p:p

I've used it. I originally bought it for my horse as when I bought him he had two massive bald patches from badly fitting rugs.

At the time I was on the drug roaccutane for my skin- it stops your skin from producing any oil and has a whole host of other not do fun side effects including hair loss and thinning hair, but it also makes your hair incredibly dry as there is no natural oil in your pores. My hair which is very fine, And pretty damaged as i have highlighted it for years, was becoming incredibly brittle and straw like and looking very damaged, limp and generally awful. I looked at the megatek bottle and saw it said you could use it on humans too....so I gave it a go and after a couple of weeks of using it every other day my hair looked remarkably better and felt softer and looked shinier! My hairdresser commented on it, and she's always telling me off, and she has started using it too!

Plus it smells yummy like piña coladas which I love!!

Do you rub it into the roots, or comb through hair or what please?
I bought some for the horse, but wouldn't mind giving it a go aswell to speed up hair growth. :)
