Er...is this normal?

The polo ponies have just been moved to a different field, (after i complained they didn't have enough grass

) and are now in a large field with a fairly large amount of grass. Since moving, alll their poo has become very, er, loose.
Can large amounts of grass/a change in the amount of grass cause diarrhea (sp)??

Oh yes, i would also stable overnight or during the day as opposed to turning out a full 24/7 on new grass as it has all kinds of hidden dangers like colic and laminitis just to give them some respite from it, it is a dodgy time of year being the start of autumn
