Ha, that got your attention!
I mean of field shelters/stables of course!
I have been offered a wooden stable that is in very good condition for a minimal cost, but must dismantle and re-erect at my own expense.
Has anyone done this and what sort of company did you use?
Can anyone give me a ball park figure of what it will cost me?
The stable is less than 10 miles from where I live.
By any chance do you know anyone who might do this sort of thing in the Bedfordshire area? Many thanks!

Find a nice helpful man to help you. Thats what I would do. Or in my case oh would be put on the case. Good luck !

Did it myself with help of a friend. Mind you having stable sides propped up on top of a pickup on top of a hill on a windy day was, um, "interesting".

Cost was a few beers, we didn't put it on a base and it worked remarkably well.

I think you ought to have a working party of friends to help you with a bribe of a bbq and beer after the work has been done

any decent handyman/carpenter will be able to do it, if it's sectional (comes apart in big pieces) it'll be very easy. transport might be the trickiest part.

Bear in mind the cost of transporting it, and if you pay a tradesman his costs aswell to add to the price of what seems cheap at the mo. Could be worth it mind!

I've found someone who will come and give me an erection!
Of the stable of course! Thanks for all your replies! Not exactly sure how much he's going to charge, but he gave me the impression he doesn't charge a huge amount for his erection (oh how childish I am!). I will post to let you know how much it costs if it all goes ahead.
