Ernie has had three weeks roadwork and was starting to really take shape, another two weeks on him and he'd be looking really good and nearly ready to start canter work. Well now he's lame

he's got an abcess in his near hind so I'm armed with salt and warm water......damn the f*cking hedge cutters....thought I'd been really careful too

Very disappointed...especially as I'd just bought my colours off of Ebay aswell

at least you know what it is... which is good but it will be no time before it heals, health horses always recovery really quickly...
It 's when their lame and you can't see or feel any reason for it - chin up
