Just had a phone call from the YO's wife to say my lad has just jumped both the electric and post and rail from fence from his paddock out into the road.

Luckily a passer-by herded him back onto the farm and the YO has put him into the other paddock with the gelds.

My OH is on her way to the yard to check on him and make peace with the YO's....

don't mean to be flippent, but at least you know he can jump ha ha, mine jumped over a 5 bar gate as a yearling, I saw it happen which was horrifying, being bullied by another horse after no injuries found I was quite chuffed, having said that it wasn't into a road!!! looks like you may need higher fencing, why was he trying to escape?

I'm so glad Nadia doesn't jump fences. If its electric and another horse has knocked it over she still may not go over it, depends how brave she is feeling and how much grass is on the other side I guess.
