Eskadron lambskin underlay - what size shall I get?

Hi - I've decided to buy an Eskadron lambskin underlay as they look fabulous and have good reviews on here, but I'm not sure what size to get! It will be used with a 17.5in Thorowgood T8 GP saddle and ideally a GP pad or a close contact pad, like the Le Mieux ones. I used to have a VSD saddle and Numed sheepskin dressage saddle cloths with it, but they are just too bulky under my new saddle and don't look right.

I'm leaning towards a VSD ('full horse' according to the size guide), but would I be better with a VSS maybe, which is a little shorter for a more forward cut saddle?
