...can you put them in the washing machine????

I need to find a tendon boot which is not made of leather, which has a sheepskin lining (either permanent or detachable) and which can go in the washing machine...

Woohoo!!!!

Do yours have the sheepskin permanently attached, or is it detachable? Do you put the whole boot in the wash? Do you have to put them on a cold wash? And do you have black or white ones?

Lots of questions

Put mine in, use Nuumed wash stuff and do on a cool temp, come up like new every time. Excellent choice of boot, recommended by my Instructor too.

I tried washing them on a wool wash but they just didn't come up clean, so sorry to report that I wash them at 50 on a short cycle with normal non bio powder, & they come up fab. I have the black ones

Sorry just read the rest of your post, the lining is non detachable, so put the whole boot in, they are quite hard to get dry, so hang them on the rail on the front of my Aga. Hasten to add if yours go all horrible if you treat them like this, please don't blame me

I love my sheepskin boots too, & have just ordered the fetlock boots with fluff. My friend who events said if I put any more fluff on her she will start to think she is a sheep!! Enjoy your boots
