Essential Oils

Im not up on my essential oils so am wondering about mixing them. I like to make my own horse wash for washing down after XC etc. in the past Ive just added peppermint essential oil to 1/4 bucket of water. But Id like to add some more but know that you're not meant to mix certain ones. Planning on Peppermint, spearmint and witch hazel?

I make a wash of 2 teaspoons each of lavender, tea tree and peppermint oil plus 2 tablespoons of baby shampoo - must be very mild. Put into a bucket and then fill it with lukewarm water in summer or very hot water in winter for hot towelling, though in winter I change the baby shampoo for dettol to get the grease out of the coat.

My fly spray uses citronella, eucalyptus, lavender, tea tree and cedarwood oils.
