Looking for equestrian property / property with land.

Yeh those are all good for North of the county and towards Telford, if OP is looking in South Shropshire or towards Wales there are maybe some others.

Thanks guys - as for area we are only just looking but radius of 90 minutes from Brizzle airport is needed.

Bristol airport! - im just getting an idea on areas that are commutable and need local estate agents as im not finding much on Rural scene etc

Shropshire is a lot further than 90 minutes from Bristol airport (unless you have a helicopter) more like 2 - 2 half hours I would think.

Yeah i can push the 90 mins most of the time - possibly change job too so i wont be tied to an airport anymore.

Well nearest airports to Shropshire are Manchester Liverpool and B'ham. About an hour to each of them from N Shropshire. I reckon Bristol airport is about 100 miles from Shropshire so certainly would be pushing it to commute, I wouldn't fancy it

But good luck with the search, if you want to know anything about the north of the county just ask.

Im on transfer lists to Liverpool and Manchester but will probably get Bristol before those ones.

Its so difficult finding what i like in the area i need.

Halls are selling a property down the road from me £400k 10acres, arena, stables, 4 bed house (I think).

Only downside is it is off a fairly busy road so hacking wouldn't really be an option.

Hi all,

Just a quick post to say that we are having an open evening on Monday 29th June 6 - 10pm at the yard. To make it more interesting this year we have got a variety of things going on including:

Equine table top sale (items at the moment include saddles, bridles, rider show gear etc)
Trade stands
presentation of youngstock by quakin stud
Raffle
BBQ
and a dressage demo

The demo will be run by Jane Bartle wilson. Jane has ridden at the Olympics and also been chef d'equipe to the british team. The plan at the moment is that the demo will be fun and entertaining and will make slight fools out of those riding (one of which is me, but I generally make a fool out of myself anyway!!)

South Shrop would be within 90 miles of Bristol (near Worcester border). You could try Farlow Estates or Highfields for this neck of the woods. Also Samuel Wood.
