Welsh D 7 years, dark brown gelding.
Can be jumpy on mounting (eager to go) and will hop about on two legs, but not nasty. Can be scared of some traffic (busy roads etc ) prefers to hack in company, but has hacked alone. Has sometimes reared, but only with one rider who egged him on, now has been ridden by 13 year old confident rider without trouble.
Farrier - ok. Loading - will eventually load but it can be a struggle.
When first arrived, was a very lovely green horse, and was schooling lovely. Once in RS was badly ridden by one person who 'adopted' him and developed bad habits. However, is now getting back to how he was and has beautiful floaty paces. Basically, is a horse for someone with confidence, gentle but firm and who wants a very smart dressage/jumper or PC type. He is 14.2.
Have I forgotten anything? Anyway, what would you pay?
