Well long story short.
After an advert placed on Horsemart I got a reply off a gentleman who seemed rather genuine.
After exchanging a few e-mails In the heat of the moment I didn't realise it could be a scam-like nature or such so initially I give him my Paypal e-mail and haven't got a reply back since. However he asked for the Farm Name and address which I give to him, then after having 2 hours of no reply I scanned over the e-mails and realised they were in broken English such as

"Thanks for your swift response.Am away on a business trip now and am ready to make the payment but don't have access to my account online but i only have access to my PayPayl here and i can make payment to you via PayPal.Kindly furnish me with your PayPal email address so that i can make the payment to you without any further delay and instruct the shipping company to come for the pick up of the horse."

Ugh I feel so silly and now I'm stuck on what to do. I was totally unaware of these scams until a silly though crossed my mind for the lack of reply. Now i'm absolutely stressed for the welfare of my mare. I'm phoning the fraud line right now. Ugh.

How badly do you need to sell a horse that you'd agree to being paid by Paypal without even meeting the buyer? It is a scam, but the mechanics behind giving your paypal details beggars belief.

I had few of there replies when I was selling last spring. I reported it to eBay as a scam, don't think they did much about it but just in case I changed my passwords and un linked my PayPal to my bank account. Sorry you got fooled. There are unscrupulous devils out there.
