tonight I discovered that I have working brakes :D

we christened the lorry with a trip to ingliston's clear round.
we arrived just after six so I hopped on to start warming up.
big mistake! the x-poles went on for ages :(
anyways, decided to do the 70cms and 80cms because it was getting late and one of the girls that came with us has an exam tomorrow morning.
we haven't jumped away from home for a good few months so we didn't want to push things.

wow - I had brakes! I totally cocked up my line into fence 1 (wasn't paying attention - oops) and had to fix things before we got too flat but he listened and came back to me without any arguing :D

I've never jumped a round like that before.
admittedly he wasn't taking me into the fences quite like he usually does but he'd travelled, had a dose of naf magic and been worked in for about an hour. I'm so proud of my old man - he's improved so much and seems to be enjoying himself again.

here hoping it wasnt a fluke ;)

hopefully ill have a video of the round - my dad was in charge of the camera :)

yep - I was so pleased with him considering he's a bit of a stress head :)
hopefully it'll be the same on Tuesday when we go to rowallan but I won't keep my hopes up because he's never been there before. there's bound to be something scary :p
