Hi there

I currently have rubber mats in my stable but I am thinking about buying some new ones and going for the EVA ones. Does anyone know anywhere in the NE that has them. Call me old fashioned but I want to have a a look at them before I get rid of my old ones and order the new!

Does anyone have these and are they any good?

Thanks
K

They come in two thicknesses and are black, one side smooth other side not smooth.
Yes they are good, personally I would have no other, s long as horse is not a digger, in which case I would have the kind that interlock.

Not even interlocking ones deterred my digger. He managed to dig them up, then chew the interlocking bits off !!

I bought mine online. They are lightweight and very easy to move around and clean, found a reasonably good depth bed is needed as the mat surface is a little bit slippy.Otherwise very good and supported an injured tendon well.I think you can request a sample from the company.

I got mine many years ago from Quattro for a very reasonable price, and they still look as good as new. They're in Cumbria, not sure if that's close enough to go and have a look, but they can also send samples of those that you are interested in (as can most other companies, or they did back when I was trying to decide on what and where from to get it). They were very patient and friendly on the phone to explain the different makes and thickness of matting available.

A few years after buying the stable matting from Quattro, I bought my lorry ramp matting from Fieldguard.
