Evening performance with lead rein m and m pony

We are going to go to the North West Champs on Sunday and taking are m and m type pony in the lead rein equitation and young handler classes.we are going to turn out as usual to type in these classes, so tweeds and un plaited.
If we get into the top ten then you go into a evening pefrormance, we have never done one before so don't know what we should wear.
We only have tweed jackets, not navy or black and we don't have any blingy stuff.
Is it necessary to have theses things? Do m and m ponys wear tweeds as usual or something else?

It's navy jacket for evening performances but some shows are less formal than others, the higher the level the less likely you would be to get away with the tweed. Horse Gossip forum has a great and busy fir sale section where there are usually lots of second hand jackets

Thank you, I will have a look. It will have to be second hand or even better borrowed as at this time of year we have so many birthdays and Christmas on the way. I suppose as she is on lead rein I will also need a navy outfit?
This is now sounding very expensive!

Something dressy and cheap! Evening shirt or blingy top. You could get away with tweed ....sure someone would lend you a jacket if stuck!

charity shop for sparkly top.... Most people only wear once!

blue skirt, white top and hair up without a hat for leader, echo check out charity shops. Jockey should also have stock

So the only thing I will have to have would be navy jacket and stock for daughter and white blouse ands crunchy for me? My daughter usually has pig tails for normal classes would she have a bun with scrunchy as well?
