Decided tonight to go showjumping even though its been 26 degrees all day!
Got there and it was so warm so just jumped in my shirt - there was no way I was putting a showjacket on either
Java felt quite slow in the warm up so was quite worried but he came to life in the ring!
First up was the 80cm as a warm up!
He absolutely flew round for a lovely double clear and we won!
Next was the 90cm.... again he flew round for another lovely double clear and was surprised to find we had won again
We did have a little hairy moment where Java deciding napping was more interesting although managed to ride him through it.

He was also scared off his rosette in the lap of honour! Silly pony
Did the 1m aswell - was very warm by this point!
Java had a lovely clear round although in the jump off we got a bit tight to 6 and I tried to turn too sharp in the air and he just dropped a leg on the backrail although came 2nd with 4 faults. Although if we hadnt had that rail we would have won by 6 seconds
Pleased with my horsey tonight!
Might be getting a lift to Ingliston BS Intro Show too in a few weeks!
