i took breeze to an evening showjumping show last night, and she was lovely didnt pull, and it finally felt together!
We went clear in the clear round class at 2ft 3in, and clear in the 2ft 6in, which was quite big for 2ft 6in, with lots of narrows. We then went in the jump off and she was really good, she just put a slight tap on the narrow style and she had it down we were i think about 8th.
It doesn't sound like much but it's the first time shes gone clear 2ft 6in, first time indoors for a couple of years, first time at this venue and she excelled herself.
Heres where it changes! It was getting towards 9pm, and we couldn't get her loaded! food, lunge whip, lunge line, haltee everything, she kept pulling back and rearing and striking out so in the end after an hour we gave up as she was going to get hurt or we were!
She ended up staying bed and brekkie at the riding stables and i had to hack her home this morning! but she was a good girl hacking back.
...
All in all an exciting 2 days! frustating but hey thats mares for you!!
