event day

im going to my first event day in about 2 weeks im excited but a little nervouse at what to expect.it i was wondering what bit you do after the dressage is it xc or sj also says you can wera xc colours for both jumping phases as i dont want to look out of place what do most people tend to do!or do they wear a show jacket for both another question what colour jacket tweed or blue/black ahhh so many questions

Normal ODE format is Dressage, then SJ then Xc, but depends on the vent for Unaff, as have known them do it backwards! Show/tweed jacket for Dressage and Sj, then Xc colours for XC! Whichever you prefer re show/tweed jacket.

I did the Addington one a couple of years ago and it was dressage, xc then sj, which was quite novel for that level. It was really nice and friendly and yes, wear colours for both as you probably won't have time to change. See you there maybe?

im doing addington on 2oth.

I'm getting his nibs freezemarked on 13th (hopefully pm) so will try and do 13th am, although want to do the PN as the Intro will be too small for him (he will tow me round). Want to give him the full 7days off after to help it heal so prob do the Feb ones after.

With JAS you only go in once, jump a course of sj and follow straight on with the xc type fences, most people wear xc colours, not sure about Addington though.
