Event horses for sale in the Nottingham / Leicestershire area

hi - I am going to be in the Nottingham / Leicestershire area next week to look for a new horse. I have already arranged to go to 1 yard, but was wondering if you have any suggestions of other yards / contacts I could try since I am in the area.

I am looking for a PN / Novice horse (so 6+yrs), that is ready to go and it would great if it had potential for Int / 2 star. Budget is reasonable (but not a lottery win) and i'm not fussy about sex or colour.

Try Weston Stud in Leicestershire. They have some lovely young home breds by their advanced stallion Weston Justice, who's stock are now rising up the eventing ranks. They are a variety of ages and out of lovely mares.

I was at Vere's a couple of weeks ago, he had a smashing chestnut gelding, 16.1, fab jumper etc, been competing SJ, XC schooled, and ready to go. Was fantastic on the flat too, off the floor, balanced and amenable. Plus... sane, sound and sensible.

Sadly he was big enough to kick my back off when I rode him, despite him behaving impeccably, or he would have been in my box and away!
