We have just sold our event horse as we were offered a price to good to turn down so we are on the hunt for a new horse.
Can anyone recommend any good dealers/websites(have tried horsequest/horse select etc).
We are looking for a horse that is a minimum of 16.3hh but pref bigger , which limits the choice. We are either looking for a younger horse who is being well placed at pre novice/novice or an older schoolmaster type. Happy to look at both.
The horse will need to be straightforward , more so in the dressage as rider is a gutsy jumper.
We have a decent budget.
If anyone has any ideas then please let me know as we want to crack on an find something.

I use sophie martindale.
The horses arn't cheep though, she's very profesional and will find you a propper horse.

PM me for her mobile if you like

There is a lovely horse locally for sale who has been placed at PN and competed Novice..
Can email you his record and contact details if you pm me...(he's currently being ridden by a local professional but has won with his owner too)
Can also tell you who not to buy from in Devon!!!

There are a lot of good horses for sale privately. You will always pay more from a dealer. If a horse is any good the vendors won't have had to sell or part exchange through a dealer.

Bossanova has a really nice looking horse to sell at the moment. He is 17hh and jumping Newcomers and done PN. Pm her for pictures.
