I have just received my acceptance letter for Moreton ODE on tuesday. It will be my first attempt at an intro. In the letter it says vaccinations and Rider cards will be randomly checked. My question is - what is a Rider card? Is it your medical card?Could anyone enlighten me please?

If you're doing it on a ticket then you wont have a rider card, so I dont think you need to worry about it.
Have to say I've been eventing for several years and have never been asked for my medical card (good job reay as technicay I'm still suspended following a fall)
I'm also doing Moreton- what number are you and I shall look out for you

Mine is 9 and evented with someone else as a 5 and 6 year old. I have had him about 8 months and done lots of unaffiliated ODE. He is quirky though so i am still learning to ride him!!

I expect they sent out an old form as Rider cards are no longer required at affiliated competitions - I've chucked mine!

It was a small booklet with your details in and a passport picture and details of medical suspensions or any disiplinary action would be recorded with.
