What order do levels of eventing go in and what sort of standards are expected at each level i.e. dressage level and jumping height/complexity?
As a previous show jumper I now have the aim of getting my mare into low level eventing but don't really understand the affiliated system... and been too embarrassed to ask before as I am sure as a long term rider I am supposed to know this!!

Any help much appreciated!
Thanks

BE 90 (fka/aka Intro) - 95 cm SJ 90 cm XC, Simple dressage 20m circles, walk, trot, canter, free walk and mostly long diagonals.

BE 100 (fka/aka PN) - 105 cm SJ 100 cm XC

Novice - 115 cm SJ 110 cm XC

There are more after that Intermediate, Intermediate Novice, Advanced Intermediate and Advanced, although not definitely sure about heights.

There is BE 80 but not sure what they are like think they are 85cm SJ and 80cm XC but not sure for definite.

Dressage gets more complicated as you move up the levels but you can download a copy of all the tests for free on this link - http://www.britisheventing.com/documents.asp?section=000100010014&sectionTitle=Download+Area

If you have any more questions post in Competition Riders as there are lots of eventers in there at a higher level than me!
