we are part of the UK!!!!! the united kingdom includes NI - even the union jack has our flag on it, when all combined, just like scotland.

its still called Great Britain and Northern ireland - we are governed by westminster as well you know

Yes actually, we are part of the UK

But Britain is England, Scotland and Wales. The UK is the name which all 4 come under.

I think so, but most Eventers tend to stay Irish as there is a greater chance of getting on the teams etc.

NI is part of the UK

"great Britain" is technically just the isle - scotland, england and wales. but as it is "great britain and Northern ireland" then we are part of you lot, even if we do not come under great britain
tongue.gif

lol its all very confusing if you dont live here lol
tongue.gif
but best not to start an arguement over whether NI belongs to Britain or Ireland...

Oh hang on - I thought the Original Post meant Ireland, not Northern Ireland.
