Eventful hack 2

So today, Icey was good in the school and since the weather was so lovely and it was 2 in the afternoon on monday, i thought it was a good day to take her for her first hack on her own. As usual, i jinxed it! We met:
2 HUGE rattly lorries
1 lorry that trasports cars on 2 levels so was very very rattly
a lot of pigeons
a group of people out on a walk with walking sticks
3 big vans one of which was an AA yellow van on the side of the road fixing someones car
a person out on a walk/ride on their mobility scooter
2 mahoosive tractors, 1 had one of them had rattly pointy, sharp long things at the back and 1 was carrying loads of sheep wool at the front
1 smaller tractor with a trailer, this one was going the same way we were so it chased us for about 1 mile.
a helicopter
a couple of pheasants that ran out of the bush at us, screaming at the top of their lungs
and a lot of cars. 2 of which thought were racing cars
Throughout the whole hack Icey didn't put a foot wrong, she was marching on with her ears up and really enjoying herself

I am uber proud and will definitely be taking her for another hack by her self soon

Well done, what a great ride!

Took Mr M out yesterday and he nearly wet his pants at the sight of another horse being ridden, cue a beautiful leg yield across a field

Icey will have to teach him how to man up

What a brave girl! My girl is pretty sensible but still worries a lot out hacking (and we are always in company!).

That is so true! While she was enjoying the hack and clearly not bothered about anything, i was having a nervous breakdown and was on the look out for possibly scary things, anything from a slightly greener leaf to rabbits and shadows. she just ignored me and was having fun
