Can't believe that this was our last event of the season already, seems like no time since we were getting stuck in the mud and the snow of Tyrella!

Dressage was not as smooth as it can be with Flynn, probably due to my sleeping in, and then running late all morning, we only had 15 minutes or so to warm up. Flynn is one of those sorts who takes his time to settle and have a look around before he really works well, so we scored 36, which is probably one of the lower marks we've had this year, but sill left us 5th going into SJ.

Show Jumping... i think the less said about this, the better... it just wasn't our day... :)

Although then the fun part came, and after SJ our propect of a placing was no longer in exsistence, so we really could just go out and enjoy it. It was a long twisting course, with a time allowed of 6m44sec, but I have to say it was far and away the nicest course we have jumped all year. The organisers really put a huge effort into the presentation adn dressing of the course, which hopefully should come out in the headcam. So we sailed around clear, probably a bit too fast though, coming home 30 seconds under the time.

Plans will now be for him to have a 4 week break (and me to get some sun!!) and then come in and work on out Showjumping over the winter.

well done! was nice to meet as well, unfortunately only in passing due to I was also helping out with catering/fence judging/slip collecting and riding :p

I thought the xc was fantastic, the best course I've ridden all year and the dressing was absolutely perfect and very impressive! I loved the bees on the table! definitely a lovely course which rode brilliantly and had good questions :)

Fab report :) well done! Popped through the keyhole like it was nothing! Love your videos!

thank-you, having never jumped one of these before this and the second to last oxer were what scared me most on course, and happyily he was great at both :).

likewise nice to get to say a brief hello, sounds like you had a busy day! are you doing Lusks or Tullymurry?

Well done - looks like a lovely smooth round - ears pricked the whole way. Not a good course if your horse doesn't like water from the look of it!

I love your head cam videos! That looked like such a nice XC course!

Thank you I really enjoyed it, and course was really lovely :)

Yeah I think there were a few who had issues all over, thankfully Flynn enjoys his xc as much as I do :)
