its 130 pound for me to become a member thats not bad

how much is it for a days competition? i seemed to think it was about 70 pound (pound sign non existant on keyboard sorry)

well just generally what are the costs?

and what is a basic dressage test for the 3ft is that pre novice?

boyfriend came to hunter trials this weekend and having had no interest in my horse for 2 yrs really loved it and says i should do it more depending on how much it is... only thing is i hate dressage and dont own a tweed jacket lol
 
Well you don't have to own a tweed jacket - you can do it in a black one at all levels, it's just most people wear tweed up to Novice! So that's one hurdle out the way! Most eventers hate dressage, so you'll fit right in there too

You've got the costs about right, entry fees depend on whether the event charges VAT or not, have a look on www.britisheventing.com at the calendar for this year and yo'll get an idea of what's on near you. Even if the event's over and done somewhere you can click on"view full schedule", where it'll say what test that event used etc. Also on the website if you go to Downloads you can look at the full rule book, which also explains about day tickets, which are great for dipping your toe in the water without shelling out on membership, particularly as you can do JAS and an event all on one ticket. Have fun!
 
intro is 2 foot 11 xc (90cms) and the sj is 3 foot 1 (95cms).
Pn is 3 foot 3 xc (100cms) and the sj is 3 foot 5 (105cms) However those r just the max heights and for sj it is just 3 jumps that r allowed to be up to height but that is sometimes brocken!!!
 
oh i could prob do pre novice then i dont like to jump too small i thin xc has to give you the willies a bit lol

no student discounts?? haha
