Had a really good lesson last night on Pidge, boy was it hot though!
Warmed up and did a few exercises and then ran through the walk and trot test we'll be doing on Sunday and then had a bash at BE 100 for the mini ODE at the end of the month and also prelim 10 - I was pooped at the end

Tests went well even the left canter

and bar losing brakes after one canter

the tests went well

Instructor is so pleased at how established our walk and trot walk has become and the canter is improving every week

so much so she is now talking about us doing prelim dressage

So although well and truly pooped I was chuffed to bits

and to top it all off the myler that Kerilli has lent me to try (and hopefully buy from her

) is suiting Pidge really well and it doesn't mark the corner of his mouth on the left - first bit I've used that doesn't do this so I am very happy. Sorry for long and pointless post I just had to share

Just one question though please............. when turning down the centre line in trot I have my legs on to get the corner and bend right but Pidge has a tendancy to pop into canter

any ideas on how to stop this?
